MCTL is a well equipped laboratory for construction materials testing which involves in the consultancy, research and execution works in the field of Civil Engineering.

The technical experts were working in the vast areas of Civil Engineering viz., Structural and Geotechnical with strong experience. The NDT testing team has been well equipped and trained with updated techniques and standard provisions.

Mr. Ramesh Potula is the founder and Director of this lab with a strong technical background in the field of Quality Control with experience of 16 years from various firms like L&T Constructions Ltd, CCCL, Chennai Civil Tech Lab & Falcon Industrial Testing Lab and so on. He has strong involvement in the Ready-Mix Concrete (RMC) works as a fresher in the profession. After the long journey he has gained a sound experience in the field of materials testing and then he has upgraded himself as a Non - Destructive Testing expert in Civil Engineering. As part of this, he has completed an ASNT (Level II) NDT training on “Radiographic Interpretation, Magnetic Particle Testing, Penetrant Testing & Ultrasonic Testing”. With the quench of knowledge and technical service, the vibrant technician emerged to lead the service industry with the support of technical expert team.

Er. Kannan M.I.E., F.I.V. - a Class I A - Registered Structural Engineer with the vast experience of 34 years in the field of Civil Engineering. He has been worked as an Engineer in the Central Public Works Department (CPWD) after passed the qualifying degree.
During his period in CPWD, he has executed so many structural works in the various places of India viz., Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Tumkur and Chennai. He has worked in the execution of multi-storeyed residential, commercial and industrial buildings. Along with that, he got experience in the design and execution of various kinds of building constructions and having knowledge on Soil Investigation and Foundation design (Shallow and Pile Foundations).
After his service for CPWD, currently he’s expanding his hand of contribution to the Structural Engineering field by involving in Structural Designing, Detailing, Rehabilitation and Restoration of Old Structures, Assessment of Load carrying capacity of buildings and their improvement with providing safe Jacketing methods, etc.
He is being a registered and active member of professional bodies viz., Institution of Engineers (India), Institution of Valuers (India), etc., The technical and moral strength of this lab is being built under the experience of our Technical Director,.

Er. Tamil Maran – the CMDA registered Geotechnical Engineer (GTE/20/03/044) who is a young expert with emerging experience of 6 years in the field of Geotechnical works. After the graduation in Civil Engineering, he has done the PG from one of the reputed institutions of the state “Government College of Technology, Coimbatore” where he has gained a basic knowledge in the soil investigation along with strong academic background.
Then he has been started his profession as a Geotechnical Engineer with a private lab and being well trained in the Soil investigation and Explorations. From there he has been equipped himself to recommend the type of foundations and designing in the due course of time. After that, Mr. Tamil Maran joined the National Institute of Wind Energy, Chennai as a Project Engineer for the Offshore & Onshore works for Geophysical & Geotechnical Survey at Gulf of Khambhat. He has shown his involvement and proven his responsibilities for the same project in a successful manner. With that, he has shared his work as presentation with the title “Geophysical survey and Geotechnical Investigation” in the Special International Course on “Wind Resource Assessment and Wind Farm Planning”.
With us, he is working as the Technical Manager and contributing his experience and knowledge for the best service in the industry.
